    What type of steal where the classic "six pack" connecting rods made from

    I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the old 1970-1971 440 engine "six pack" connecting rods where made from.  4340? 5140?  I kind of figure a stock production motor would have a fairly inexpensively made rod.  I am not looking for any, just want to know what material was used.
