Exhaust Gasket

Anybody use copper exhaust gaskets and do you use a sealer with them.

I recently posted a thread asking what the best gaskets were and learned from Chryco that the factory didn't use gaskets. He suggested a light coating of silicone if I went that route.

That is true, BUT, it only works if the manifold is mi9lled completely flat just like it was when brand new from the factory.
Then, you wouldn't even need silicone.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

I have used copper gaskets with headers , they work great as long as they are sized exactly right , they will not blow out being copper at least
