Just finished installing my trunk seal with the 3M product/adhesive.  Can I use the same to attach my new seal to the shaker adapter ring??

Or is contact cement better/worse?    Only saw one previous topic on this and was wondering if anyone has found a better product for this application with the heat around the motor.

Thanks  .... CHAPS :feedback:

3M weatherstrip is a good product & should work well for the shaker seal , I would use making tape all the way around to hold it in place while the glue drys

Thanks Chryco ...... that worked pretty well.   I had to clamp it in 8" sections, but it works.

Do you happen to know where the proper location is for bolting the feet to the intake manifold is??  I got these from Dave at Roseville for my 440-4BBL shaker set up, but I am unsure which intake manifold bolts they are supposed to attach to (OEM set up).    There is no reference to the shaker set up in the Service Manual.

Cheers ..... CHAPS!
