chrome plated Rallyes?
« on: January 01, 2005 - 09:58:06 PM »
anyone got pics of these? I am about to restore my rallyes and was curious what chrome rallyes would look like on my car. Anyone been-there, done-that?

hadn't really given that much thought, I was interested in what they looked like though.

To be honest, I've never seen them. That would certainly be a different look though. Anyone see any?

Bart,
Thanks for the pictures. I don't know NZ, I would have to see them. They kind of look good to me. Especially with the darker argent cnter caps.

Wow - thanks for the pix Bart!

I would like to see a chromed set with the trim rings rather than just the bare chromed wheel. Not that there's anything wrong with the bare wheel and center cap look, I just think chrome would work better as an accent on a rallyes rather than a bare chromed wheel. Somehow, the chromed rallyes in the pics strikes me as common looking?

no, was interested in seeing a chromed wheel like in the pics but with brushed or polished trim rings. The Duster wheels appear to be chromed with center caps only.
