I have a 70 challenger RT all new wiring.  When i turn on my lights both turn signal indicators lights come on in the rallye dash.  When i signal a turn they flash properly but go back to both being lighted.  Any ideas what is causing this.  All of the lights and signal indicators on the car work correctly and the hazard lights work correctly.

Welcome aboard here.

Back when I had that issue with the right light being lit on the dash, I found that the front parking light on the passenger's side was lit, but dim. I found the housing was only being held on by one screw, so it was a grounding issue with me.

Are all your parking lights lit, and shining bright?

From what i can see everything is working fine except the turn signal indicator light come on when the lights are on.  Everything functions and seems bright.  I did have a ground issue with my wiper switch and wipers would not park.  Maybe I will just ground everything.  I painted my dash frame before putting it in maybe that is the source of the ground problem

definatly a ground issue , makes sure all the light housings , front rear & side are properly grounding to the body & the problem will go away , it is not usually a ground issue in the dash itself

Ok i will check all the grounds -- i already ran a ground loop to all the light housings in the trunk made no difference.  I know my 3sp wiper switch needs to be grounded it will only park if i touch a ground wire to the knob post.

one of the light circuits is finding the easiest way to ground is through the dash light

still searching for the issue.  I grounded all the lights in the trunk and the switch panel.  Replaced my 3sp wiper switch and fix the panel dimmer everything works but indicators still come on when lights are on.  The parking lights have a 2 wire plug so isn't one of those wires a ground and so does the front signal lights.  Headlight panel?  the parking lights being on will cause the indicator light (both) to illuminate as well.

the front & rear lights have two wires , 1 for park & one for turn , the front lights on a cuda had a black ground wire because they were mounted to plastic , Challengers grounded through the body , the side lights usually have 1 wire & ground to the body
