    70 Challenger RT/SE

    My Dad and I are thinking of selling our 1970 Challenger RT/SE, It needs a full resto, but car is complete.  All interior parts are in great shape including the Special Edition door panels, center console, overhead console, and all interior panels.  There is now carpet or headliner which could be expected, and floors are in decent shape... trunk is Swiss cheese.  Body is rough yet complete with all  panels.  Grill, bumpers, marker and tail lights are all in place and in good shape.  The SE small (privacy) back window insert is there and in great shape complete with glass.  Also have original mufflers with chrome exhaust tips, and 383 Magnum emblems that go on the power bulge hood.

    I'm very interested.  Can you tell us more about the car?   Fender tag, build sheet, number matching motor / trans, original color?

    its a 383 car its not the original motor its out of a 68 roadrunner did run and drive, no idea if the trans is original.  i have the vin somewhere written down (car is at my dads house) do not have the build sheet or fender tag unfortunately, original color is gold, you can see it in the pic of the door.  The car is all there not many parts need to be found we have been wanting to restore it for a while now, just no time already have another challenger.  Main concern if we sell is that it gets a good home and not parted out, people have been trying to get the overhead console for years and i wont do it.  I have an idea of its worth, any input on that would be great

    car is located in Ocean county NJ, if interested message me, can get more photos and vin if anyone would like.  8,000 is what i was thinking I could get for the car considering the parts i have, and completeness of the car.  I'm going to post her for sale in the correct section.  thanks for everyone's interest and help in confirming worth I appreciate it.

    I think someone will buy it and restore it.  Things are slow right now.  You may just have the leave it for sale for several months.  Bolt it together as best as possible and clean it as best as possible.  Then someone will want it.  Good luck with the sale of it.
