Looking to finally get some tips on my challenger but want to make sure they're positioned correctly...

A measurement of how far they stick out (top of a tip back to valence) would be perfect.

Thanks!

I asked Dave Walden that question.  He told me that the factory tips will locate themselves.  The tip is installed inside the muffler.  The step inside the muffler outlet won't let the tips go in too far.  The workers on the line didn't have to guess at it.  THey just pushed the tips in until they hit that step and that was it.

Now if the mufflers aren't the factory style...and don't have that step inside the pipe...that's a whole other story.  I don't think the factory tips stuck out very far at all.  I'm thinking the tip sticks out 3/8" from the valance is all.(maybe a little more but not much)

Yes that's a factory stripe.  I think there are a total of 3 cars documented in that color combination.  That car is the highest scoring Challenger to date in the Mopar Nats OE judging.
