Hi Bart-
Regarding the M46 option scoops; I have to agree with TinCuda, yours look better than factory.  Reading your post on how you made them; broke out the English wheel.  That, all by itself is cool.  Using the English wheel is an art, yet another talent that you’ve obviously mastered.  Put it another way – Kick ass, as always.
Keep up the good excellent work, and please keep posting
Ron

I have to agree with you Tin. they do look  better.   Much more clean than factory.

So, Tin, I have not seen that picture of that car with scoops. The silver one.
Do you have larger pictures of that car?

Not trying to hijack your thread Dutch.  Your scoops are totally awesome!!

Sorry,  I don't remember where I got the picture of the silver car.   I grabbed it off the internet somewhere.   It's not my car or anything.   I thought it would make a good reference picture to locate the scoops if I ever wanted to go that direction in the future.

Thanks Tin.  I have been collecting any pictures I can of the cars.
There aren't many out there.
I think it's like 14 or so that are known to exist.

Nice, what color is that and mfg?  Looks great, the yellow looks like the egg yolk of our free range chickens.  Much deeper a hint of orange.   That's what I have been looking for with mine, love the steelies with the dog dish too.  Mine has been on hold a year, we moved to Texas and now will have way more time to get with this.  Thanks for rolling it out.

Just insanely cool! So, how many wrecks do you think you are going to cause when you are cruising around from slack jawed, drooling gawkers? I'll bet more than a few! Outstanding car! I bet you can almost feel the envy of all the luxo dime a dozen owners every time you get a little bit closer to getting yours on the road? lol. Men will hate you - women will follow you! lol. Very nice and very classy.

Don

hey Don,
winter seems to be done for this year. I`m waiting for a few more parts to arrive ( hopefully this week) to get the 440 assembled.
I will post up progress in the resto thread soon   :jumping:

I`m not much of a photographer, but my mate shoots nice ones.  Took him for a cruise / rip the tarmac session last night ( holy crap, this thing is fast!  :woohoo:   )   I`ll see what he comes up with  :2thumbs:
