The car just pops with the surroundings all being earth tones.  It looks like it would shine as brite in the dead of night as it does in the middle of the day.  Looks awsome!!!

Could I get some good pictures of those rear wheel fender scoops.  I think those are really cool and I would like to see them a little better.

Thanks,

I fully agree Dutch.  That scoop is awesome.

I have not seen a description of how or what you made it with.

Is there a thread on your scoops?

That is an original factory scoop.  M46 on the fender tag if I remember correctly.  Not home made or a mod.  It could only be had on the base model Barracuda.  Very cool and very rare.

Thanks for the info TinCuda.

 I currently have a very rusty EV2 M46 383
I have three scoops.  Found a pair on an M46 without a vin or fender tag so I didn't purchase the car.
MoparAl sold me the third one I have.

I am always looking for another set

Two of them are steel bodies like the one in your picture and one is the aluminum body.

I believe Mark at aloha parts( name might be wrong) had made a few repro's with some stud changes.
Gordon(426Hemi) I think, purchased a pair from mark and said they were really well made.

Pretty sure Dutch's were hand made though.  Could be wrong but definitely something Dutch can whip up.

That's so friggin cool did not know that was a real option!! I could not do it as they would get in the way of the rocker moldings.

I stand corrected.  Those still look really cool.  You did an amazing job.  I was going to say an amazing job for being handmade but they really look better than a factory job!

I have to agree with you Tin. they do look  better.   Much more clean than factory.

So, Tin, I have not seen that picture of that car with scoops. The silver one.
Do you have larger pictures of that car?

Not trying to hijack your thread Dutch.  Your scoops are totally awesome!!

I never knew these scoops existed untill a few years ago, when the were some threads about them on this site... I loved the looks immediately, they give the rear half of the car that extra bold look... but  the factory scoops looked a bit ... I dont know... kinda not very straight plastic to me. That wouldn`t be a problem back then since the m46 option came with stipes and blackout below the stripes .  However, I like the car to look low to the ground and the blackout does the opposite, so the scoops om my car had to be more straight and flush with the body. I used the englishwheel to get the convex shape.  One thing I would have done different if I had to make them again... the lower point is longer on the factory scoops, mine dont follow the line of the door as nice... just a tad short... I wish I would have had a bigger workspace. I think they would have looked even better if I was able to look at it from a distance when I made them.... oh well.... **** happens... no problem with hi-jack for the good cause  :grinno:   `nuff said about my car anyways...  scoops rule  :bigshades:
