Reminds me of my old car pooling days. My next door neighbor drove a 1973 Dodge Dart. He paid $800 bucks for it (this was in the late 80's) and had a sound system that cost far more than the car. We called it the "Death Mobile" as you were taking your life in your hands riding in it!! The front end was so bad, the tires were bald and squealed & one day the tie-rod broke in the downtown tunnel.
If you do put in a high power sound system...just make sure your electrical wiring/system & especially bulkhead connections can handle the power needed to supply the amps. A lot of kids now buy these high power amps and wonder why the alternator burns up and the battery dies!!
And I've seen a few Mopars burn up the entire wiring harness from placing too much load on it!!
