New kid from CA
« on: August 08, 2011 - 03:59:03 AM »
Hello, my name is Billie I'm 16 and have been viewing the forums for several months now. I decided to make an account because all of the information is very helpfull, and the stories are killer. The Challenger and Cuda have been my favorite car for as long as I can remember. Since January of this year, (My birthday) I have been restoring a 1972 Challenger Rallye. So, that's me.:) :working:

Hi Billie,
Welcome to CC.com. I gather you are having some help with the restoration project. We have other members here close to your age. I'm glad to see young folks like yourself taking to old school classic muscle cars. Take a good look thru our forum. There are a lot of pictures and postings about various restoration subjects. Feel free to ask questions. Lots of knowledge, experience and friendly advice here!  You should start a post in the "restoration" forum and post pictures and updates of your Challenger project! Good luck and once again welcome!!  :2thumbs:

Hi Billie, welcome!

Only 16?  You must have the coolest car in the school!

Lots of nice people here, feel free to ask any questions!

You know what they say in school, "The only stupid question is the one you don't ask!"

Post some pics!  Tell us some details about your car!  Any history?  I have a '72 Rallye as well.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Thanks guys, I most certaintly will when I get a chance. And yeah, I can't stand modern cars, well a majority of them. I've been brought up around classics, my dad's got a '69 superbee. So of course I am getting help. Thanks again guys I appreciate it. :grinno:

I live up in the North County Fair area. Have you heard of Cruisin' Grand?
