Sorry it is a "BO" not a "BU" What does the "BO" Desginate?

All the bodies were stamped with the last 2 letters reversed so they all got stamped BO or EO instead of OE in the serial # , the rad stamping will be there as well , often it is hidden under the Antifreeze decal on the top of the rad wall ,sometimes it is stamped into the rear face of the rad wall so you have to move the rad away from the firewall to see it . It will be stamper the same as the top of the cowl OBxxxxxx .
The dealer that originally sold the car may have paperwork on the warranty engine IF they are still in business , IF they kept the records & IF you can find out who sold the car originally , start the hunt !!

Not happening in this market - You need to find that Fender tag and Build sheet and you'll get alot closer.

Yea I love that thing too. Its more than look too. Your Average cuda even with 1 to 1 1/2 degrees of positive caster at beginning racing speed ( at about 105mph ) the front end lifts about 3-4 inches and this spoiler does not allow it to lift and at speeds above 115 or so will plow the front end down and turns a squirly cuda into a monster that just begs ya to push it
There is a guy that makes these from the original Dan gurny car mold and they are going for around 250

There's a lot of things that don't add up on that car.  Do you know why the steering column was changed to a 71+?  Also, isn't half that rallye dash from a 72+ because it has the washer picture?  Where's the fender tag?

I personally would not call this a numbers matching motor as it would have to have the numbers on it to match.  A warranty block would have the metal plaque bolted to it.

I think you answered your own question by putting it on ebay.  Not that it helps, but I bought a 70 V code cuda with Dana last week for about half what yours got to on ebay.  I think you might want to rethink that top bidder on ebay.

My car has a 71 or older Steering Col or do you mean a different steering wheel.  and the Dash is from a 72 or older. Really. Do you care to Explain, Please. What does a Plaque look like on a replacement warranty block and were did they put them.
