Hi, thought I'd check in - a few new pics and update....
« on: August 15, 2011 - 11:52:35 AM »
I've been up tp my eyeballs since after carlisle. I knew I was busy when the local chapter of the WPC wanted NIKKI to be in the dealer show room for the show next week and I turned it down. Ehhh shes just a 30 footer any way.

But whats been going on is after Carlisle my brother and I closed on a freddiemac house. This has been a real azzbuster! I've only had one day away from it and that was this past saturday (wifes birthday). I've been going to work directly after going to work... the days are a blurrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm hurting in spots I didnt know could hurt. For those who dont know a freediemac is a forclosed/rehab type of situation. This one just happns to be in a great area. We heard the former owner moved out in the middle of the night.

Why the BIG push??? The guys that we know who do this type of thing take at least 6-9 months. Our  goal is before labor day. So we can put our folks in it! We sprung the surprise on them about a week ago.  My mons at that stage where steps are really getting to be a challenge. They live in a bungalow style house now. And the area is mantaining but ib 5 years who knows?

We've done all landscaping ( it was just an overgrown weed infested jungle!) All new doors/ windows/kicthen/2 baths/ flooring/carpeting/foundation  And were converting a bedroom into a first floor laundry room for mom. Some is done some is work in progess. Some things we addmittedly farmed out. But its really starting to take shape! Once we get them moved in their place will get a few needed updates and be put on the market. @ a slower pace I hope.

NIKKI's only been out twice since we started....  :crying:

I'll put up some pics tonight if I dont pass out in the lazyboy..... again!

That's awesome!  Hope you can maintain the pace.  Do yourself a favor and get a massage when all is done (take the wife and call it a "present").

What a nice son!  Your Mom should be proud of both of you!

Massage the muscles?  Go out in Miss Nikki and let that HEMI's vibrations massage your troubles away!  :grinyes:

Here's a few pics of the house before I started installing the dishwasher. I wish I had an original pic ...had 'em can't find 'em. My bro's got a few if I can get him to send them.

THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS! I was not "always" the good son. I left they're house at 18 after butting heads with my dad one time too many. Lucky for me, after time we were able to work out our differences. I dont know of anyone else (friends wise) that are my age and both they're folks are still around. My dads 88 and still drives. Mon still makes thanksgiving dinner. I hope they're around awhile yet.

Looks great, only way to improve the looks is to get a pic with Miss Nikki in the driveway!  :grinyes:  Could park a few nice Mopars in that driveway!
