« on: August 23, 2011 - 07:54:25 PM »
Hi everyone, I was reading this site for a while now and decided to join. I owned a 73 Cuda about 10 years ago and I'm looking to buy another cuda or challenger and I know this site will help in what ever problems may occur. Also I will help anyone I can.

Welcome to the group!   Great bunch of folks here.

Keep an eye on Craigs list.  I seen a few pop up here in NH, but I've also seen a few in MA as well.

How much work do you want to do on it, full restoration, or ready to show?

Excellent!  Have you purchased it, or still thinking about it?  :money:  Have any photos or specs?  :picture:

I'm going to look at it tomorrow, not sure what it will be worth when completed.

Unless you get super lucky...you'll never get the money out of a car that you put into it...especially when you factor in your labor :)

I don't think 15k isn't out of line for a 70s vert depending on numbers match, build sheet, condition and options.

I recommend you take lots of pictures and post them here and I'm sure several members will let you know their opinions.  Make sure you check the trouble spots (the floor, trunk pans, fire wall, frame rails, around the cowl, etc).

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Hi fern, welcome!   From MA as well.

Keep us updated on the vert!  :grinyes:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
