There's just something about the vivid late-'70's to early-'80's paint jobs that seem to be at home on these cars...Much so that it almost has the same feeling of a restored factory-spec high impact color one.

For the younger guys who may not know,  the Boston ships are upside down guitars.   It looks like the Cuda has a Camaro spoiler.

That paint job takes me back to the seventies when I first got into American muscle cars.Wild paintwork and murals were the norm.

I love the flames & panels, but gotta say I always preferred that murals stayed on the sides of Shaggin Wagon Vans where they belonged.  I especially liked all the murals with semi-naked viking women (think Frazetta).  Can't go wrong with that!

Oh that paint job is much more extreme than the one on my car.  I don't have any murals or flames   It's nice to see some cars with more retro paint jobs.  That thread searching for Phil Alepa's has some nice pictures of a retro paint job.
