Correct Rallye Wheels?
« on: January 06, 2005 - 01:54:29 AM »

I am going to buy a set of 15x8" Rallye wheels for the Challenger, I will be buying 5 wheels in this spec.

Question: In the link below are they correct wheels, I have this fear that some of the rallye wheels out there are not correct looking?

Just me?  :dontknow: :???: I worked it out to be around $675 US for all the 5 wheels and shipping so it's not "too" bad.

The only thing is they don't make 15x8 trim ring pieces - do they?  :???:

So do the wheels in the link look correct?

Cheers,
Carl

Sweeeet They do to me but I just want to double check. 4-1/2" Back Spacing is correct for my Challenger eh?  :dontknow:
I got my Cop rims with 4.5 BS but I haven't tried them yet.  :grinno: I know I know but I'm sure they'll fit.

Hey NZ good deal.
I've read in some of the past posts that 5" backspacing is the max without moving springs, so your 4-1/2" should be money.

The only reason I know is because I have 4 hockey pucks I call 14" tires and will be looking to replace them this spring.

I'll be saving that link, I'm going for more of a factory looking wheel myself. But then again I tend to change my mind alot.

Thanks for your input BB73. By "factory look" do you mean the size? Like 15x7? Or the style?  :???: :dontknow:

Ughh. sorry, I meant by the style.
Like I was saying I've been kicking around the need for a larger tire, just about set in my mind
with Rallye wheels.
I think the 5 spoke style American Racing rims are pretty hot, I need to be hit in the head to make my final choice  :spank:

In any event, I need more tire and still like the original style of the Rallye wheel - there I think I got it out.
Either I need more coffee or less beer. :ack:

Not sure who makes the wheels for Eastwood, but I bought a set for my AAR in 15x8 to mount the drag radials to and they match up good to the original 15x7's. The trim rings were hard to get on but the centers fit good. Have a small gap at the bottom as the trim ring is a little short.

I wonder about those trim rings Eastwood is selling. They don't say if they are polished or brushed. Those prices are rediculously cheap, so I might call them anyway.
