Anybody ever put wide 71 moldings on TA hood?

Just curious. Not sure if this is two great tastes that would taste great together or a hideous affront to God.

Now that you mention it; it should've been an option. I think that would look good on a T/A.

Maybe look good with a T/A hood, but wouldn't it conflict with tha T/A stripe kit beginning  up front on the fenders?

What got me started on this, BTW, was looking at a TA and noticing how the chrome lip fed into the headlight bezels. With a 73, I can't do that, at least easily. The "bezel" part on a 73 is the fiberglass header, so it would be a bear to try to chrome that lip. I winder what it would look like with chrome paint on the header and hood lip?

Somewhere I saw where a guy took a pair of used 70-71 headlight bezels and fit them to a 72-74 header panel.  Then he used the 70-71 hood moulding.  I didn't think it looked as good as I thought it would.

I had thought about that as well, but I didn't think it would work well either.
