Ok next question . . .today I went to install the hose connections for the heater core. . no problems, I tapped the holes to make sure the threads were in good condition and to remove any excess paint.

My own stupid question:

On your waterpump, are your fittings reversed ?    The tall one should be on the hole closest to the Radiator ??

Ok next question . . .today I went to install the hose connections for the heater core. . no problems, I tapped the holes to make sure the threads were in good condition and to remove any excess paint.   Installed the fittings and started looking at the hoses. One is smaller than the other but the outlet at the heater core. . . those pipes are the same size??  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure the smaller hose isn’t gonna fit!  Is there a reducer or something that needs to be added??

The heater control valve has the same connections at the Firewall side, (two equal diameters)

but going to the block, that is there the diameter to the smaller hose changes size.

If theyre the same size, then are you skipping the install of a valve control ?   :dontknow:
So then... youre going to have the heater on all the time ?
