Panther Pink Chally running around my little town
« on: September 07, 2011 - 02:31:20 AM »
Just thought some of you might be interested in seeing this car that runs around my town.
I tried to purchase it about 5 years ago.  I thought he wanted too much then.
Since then he has damaged the drivers side rear quarter and door.
Car still runs though.  Love seeing one out there.
This is the original paint.  I think that is the main reason why he hasn't fixed the problem with the quarter yet.

These pictures were taken with my camera phone so they are not the best quality.

The guy tells me that there were under a hundred made from the E plant.  LA.
Something like 45.  Can anyone verify this?
Anybody have a price they think this thing would be worth?

That thing is awesome. I'd drive it just the way it is.

Yeah, I would drive it like that also.

However, I would at least take a hammer to the inside of that rear fender and drivers door.  That's easy enough.

It only has it's original paint once.  I do believe it still has all it's floor and trunk.  No real rot on car.

Looks like a real fun car to cruise around town in.  With a 318 it'll be good on gas too!  :grinyes:

My thoughts exactly.  Seems every time I see the car it has a new dent.

I did take these pictures 15 miles up a mountain from the nearest town.  So the guy really does drive the car up rocky mountain roads.

I would think he would buy a jeep just to keep from denting up the chally.  To each his own.

Yeah, looks a little rough but it is nice to see he is driving it and enjoying it.  Notice how clean the engine is?  Sure, it could use some paint/spiffing up, but notice no real leaks, looks all stock and dry so I assume he's maintaining the engine at least.

Not that I'm a fender tag expert, but that is one very low optioned Challenger, so few codes but yet it's an FM3 Panther Pink car. Interesting....

I assume it's a no console/column shift automatic car?  :clueless:

Neat car, but would be a money pit to restore.
Doesn't seem like there is a single body panel without some  sort of damage.

Sometimes that's better I guess, no fear of parking up close at Walmart.  :dunno:
