Picked up my 2011 Toxic Orange
« on: September 07, 2011 - 10:55:09 PM »
Picked it up on Friday and had an awesome 6 hour ride home.  What a great riding and handling car. I can't stop driving it.  My 73 may not get as much love now.  Depending on the time of day and sun the orange is many shades.  Glad I went for the toxic instead of the green/

I bought a B5 Classic in '09, but since I own a FK5 burnt orange '70 and a GK6 Dark Autumn bronze '71 Challenger, when I saw toxic orange I couldn't help but think maybe I should have waited a few years and bought a toxic orange 2011 instead!  It would sure look good with the other two vintage rides.
I love B5 but toxic orange is definately my second favorite new Challenger color!  :2thumbs:

Wow!  Looks real nice!  Never saw that color on a new Challenger!

How close is that color to Burnt Orange on the old Challengers?  :clueless:  Thanks!

Everytime I look at it I see a different shade of orange due to the lighting conditions and the pearl coat in the paint.  Most of my classic mopar owner friends called it burnt orange as soon as they saw it.  So it must be pretty close.

Congrats!

I think that would be my color choice if I were buying a new Challenger too.    :grinyes:

Auto with Super track Pak.  Tons of fun.  Dodge did an awesome job on this car.  I had no clue how great the ride would be.  Put 600 miles on her in 3 days.
