Pretty good idea, cup holders would've definitely made these cars a bit more luxurious XD.

it took a few hours to get all welding done. The welds look a bit messy, but that`s mainly due to tackwelds done with a stickwelder... and also the fact that I just raced the torch along the seams...
I expected the area around the shifter to warp a bit... it did...alot LOL so in the end I cut out that section and welded a new piece of sheet in there. Fits like a glove now
threw on a couple spades of filler and sanded it smooth, so next will be paint.
I wish I had the skilles to upholster it with leather, but that will take some practice on less complicated parts. In the future I plan on doing the entire interior, but that`s got no priority now. So wrinklepaint it will be

ehhh... nope
just some wood work and stereo installation left to do. still think it should be wrapped in leather, but this will do for now...
