    Pretty good idea, cup holders would've definitely made these cars a bit more luxurious XD.

     it took a few hours to get all welding done. The welds look a bit messy, but that`s mainly due to tackwelds done with a stickwelder... and also the fact that I just raced the torch along the seams...  :biggrin:   I expected the area around the shifter to warp a bit... it did...alot LOL   so in the end I cut out that section and welded a new piece of sheet in there.  Fits like a glove now  :2thumbs:  threw on a couple spades of filler and sanded it smooth, so next will be paint.
    I wish I had the skilles to upholster it with leather, but that will take some practice on less complicated parts.  In the future I plan on doing the entire interior, but that`s got no priority now. So wrinklepaint it will be  :2thumbs:

    just some wood work and stereo installation left to do.  still think it should be wrapped in leather, but this will do for now...  :smokin:
