I was reading allpar and this looks like a very good option for a resto mod.  Anyone seen one of these yet?

I've heard about this comming, but that article says it can only handle 331FT-LBS ???  That ain't gonna be very useful?

I reada ittle farther and it says they are producing several different versions that can handle loads up to 1000Nm (737 lb-ft.)  That seems strong enough to handle most of the machines we build on this site.

Your right. I wish they would make it with a removable bell housing like a 4L60 so it could easily be adapted to other engines. Seems like new engines esp 6 cylinders have a narrow power band?

This would be a great option if it is as durable as the 727 yet available to be installed in a resto-mod.  4.11 gears, 20+mpg, programmable and reliable/available through Bouchillon.  I will have to keep my fingers crossed as it is probably 2-3 years away from allowing me to install in my 71 Challenger!
