Unfortunately, we have a growing segment of our population that believes they are 'owed' a comfortable lifestyle and somebody (else) has to pay for that. Bernie Marcus was on Fox Business tonight and one of the things he said was that he has a friend whose business runs 33 factories across the U.S. but they will be closing and moving to China due to high taxes, costly regulations including Obamacare, and the threat of unions due to the recent NLRB actions against Boeing in South Carolina. The few remaining non-services companies left in this country are giving up. He bluntly said that if we don't change presidents in 2012 we're done as a country. I'm sure many will disagree, but what does Bernie know anyway, he just created one of the few successful companies, Home Depot, in the last 30 years. He said if he had to do it all again, it wouldn't be possible, too much government intervention, period. I can't give up on this country because I have two children who are young adults and I won't willingly give them a country whose standard of living is half or less than my generation's....
