New from Western Canada
« on: September 13, 2011 - 12:30:35 AM »
Hello everyone.
I came across this site a while ago and registered to be able to view some pictures and thought that it was about time that I intoduced myself.
My name is Kevin and I have been restoring a '70 'Cuda for the past 6 years. It'll have a 383ci w/ a 727 and an 8 3/4 diff.
Should be getting it back from the paint shop in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to begin the task of putting it all back together.
I will post some pics when I get the chance.

-1969 Dart GT, 387ci Stroker, 727 TF Manual VB,  8 3/4 Diff w/ 4.10's
-1970 'Cuda, 383ci, 727 TF, 8 3/4 Diff w/ 3.55's
-1970 Duster 505 BB Stroker, 727 w/ TB, Dana 60 w/ 4.56's.

Any chance you know Terry McLeod from Fort St John?  I did a trade deal with him that I was fortunate to come out ahead on.  He has a beautiful garage (apparently like a lot of our northern friends) full of classic cars.

I traded him my stunning 1974 B5 Blue Rallye Challenger that I just could not sell for what I thought it was worth.***  Got his 69 Camaro RS/SS in return that was in questionable condition which I flipped for a fair amount, although it turned out that buyer was not very happy with the car.

*** Terry apparently then sold the Challenger to a guy in Washington DC, so that car has been moved from West Coast to East Coast via Canada!
