So far, I have 7, count 'em 7 entries, with the possibility of another 4 if my count is right. This is another way of saying that there might not even need to be a vote for the shots that make it into the calendar this year.
I think there are a lot of reasons for this, but I can say with certainty that there's almost a one-to-one correspondence between shots received that are ready to go and shots that have been turned down because they were too small. I think 5 people have been asked if they could get higher res shots, and IIRC only one has managed to get a higher res shot so far.
So, as one possible solution...we can forego the "no photoshopping" rule, and we can print any winning entries that are too small to print at full page size against another background. This is an idea Judy came up with (to give credit where due), and it would be somewhat artsy looking. The example Judy sent me had the car in color, centered on the page, with a black and white image of a garage behind it.
Is this a good idea? If we do it, would you want to see the shots that are too small to print full page notated in the poll? Are there dozens of people just waiting to send me shots, so that this might not matter?
