1968 "Supercuda"
« on: September 16, 2011 - 09:42:29 PM »
I love the Daytona/Superbirds...here's one someone created out of a Barracuda that was at this weekend's Mecum Auction.

I'd call that a "Minibird"

Pretty cool idea.

Needs the fender air releases and a trial run at DAYTONA!

That car was not warmly received by the bidding public at the sale.... I thought it was pretty cool!

Wow, looks pretty nice.  Taillights could be more...I dunno, something...more like a Super bird or more like a Barracuda, but they look kind of generic.

Would image it to be pretty fast with the 440 6 Pack.

I was joking with my dad about the idea of a "Cut-ona", didn't think anyone would actually do it! Looks pretty cool  8).

Here is my buddy Dan's Barracuda.

He is a member here, SuperCuda.  Doesn't get on much.

383, automatic

I helped him put the wing on back in 96.
Real superbird wing.  Didn't have to modify it.
Interesting story.  Came from right where the blackbird disappeared.
Had the right colors to have been on the black bird.
I watched him strip the wing.
