Hi, another newbie from Way out Aruba
« on: September 18, 2011 - 09:51:46 PM »
Hello I was looking on info about dodge alternators an came across this forum, have been wandering around and was pleased to see so much info on Challengers and Cudas.
So I decided to join like many other before me. I recently completed and mild restoration(exterior and Interior only) of an 1972 Dodge Challenger. Hope I can get an lot of useful tips on this forum now I'm getting into the engine bay. 2 pic's, before and after the restoration.
And yes I'm from Aruba so pretty far out. Part of the kingdom of the   :netherlands:

I have a good friend who might be interested in a couple of those license plates.

One Happy Island...I bet it is.

If you had bought a Cuda, you could've been the Aruba Cuda.

Nice ring to it.

Harleysporster74,
I have been to several Caribbean islands, not Jamaica yet. So unable to judge how it is like. It is what you're looking when retiring. What I heard the safety is an challenge on Jamaica. Stories about most premises with high walls for protection etc...

Aruba is not like that. Cannot say that Aruba is the safest island , but where is safe these days.
What I do like about Aruba, that you can walk almost any where without have to worry about safety. And at the end that is what everybody wants, to go anywhere without you have to worry about if you want to be safe.

I do have to say that Aruba its standards to be able to retire are though. Google it.
