Track results!
« on: January 09, 2005 - 04:08:30 PM »
Well just got back from the track. it was so un well prepped it wasnt even funny. traction was non existent. I ran the car with bfg ta radials, just street tires, and spun them to a 12.1 @115mph
a few other times in the 12's but just smoldering them. So iw ent back and put on some hoosier street slicks and byt he time they were on i could only get 1 more run in and went 11.80 @116mph.
Just thought you'd all like to hear!  :burnout:

11.80 is great, what set-up you running?
engine, tranny, gearing?

Last time I went to the track, only made 1 run with engine mis-firing and sputtering across with a 15.90!

Haven't been back since.

Thats bloody awesom mate!!!!!!!! Low 11's!!!!!!!!  :ack: :D :grinyes:
Sheesh, with some extra money, a professional engine tune and car set-up you could easily get into 10's.
Thas impressive a low 11-mid-high 10's second all steel Challenger.

I would like mine in the low 12 second mark, quick enough and also a solid cruiser.  ;D

I'll second that!  Great job! The air is nice and dense now, but hooking in these temps is always a problem.
