When I was a kid in the late 70's I knew of a guy that did that with 2 write offs, it was a 70 Challenger vert with a 71 Cuda rear. ..... although the workmanship was ok....it just didn't look right. IMO

Body line would be a challenge to say the least. Challenger has one right down the middle. Cuda doesn't. ALOT of fab work just to have someone tell you it looks like crap...But, for every one telling you that, you might have one telling you they like it...Anything is possible....

Why would you want to mess with a car that was done right to begin with?

Now on the other hand I have a friend with a hybrid Camaro, big block Chev backed up by a A833 4spd and Dana 60 rear.      :smilielol:

Guys, take a close look and the 2008-present challengers.  They are clearly a 'cuda/challenger hybrid.  A Challenger hood scoop on a 'cuda hood (front lip does not hang over).  Flat single seam 'cuda sides with a challenger upward sweeping rear body line.  Doesn't take to much to see the new Challenger is the best parts of both the 70's cars.

Is the idea stupid?  NO!  That being said, I would not do it.

Just say'n

there was a pnk one around a few years ago with a 71 Cuda front clip , it looked decent , he had to do some serious work in the doors to blend the 2 lines

This is definetly a case where one can certainly find a way to do the work involved, but before asking if you COULD do it, you should probably ask if you SHOULD do it. If that is the question, then definetly the answer is NO.
