Google: Have they gone too far?
« on: September 21, 2011 - 08:42:39 PM »
Today Google is being scrutinized by the gov't as monopolizing the search engine feature on the internet.
Well Duh!

The Gov't is just now putting them under the Microscope. Isn't the gov't supposed to control monopolies from going out of control? Google is out of control. Not that it's a bad search engine of course. Sure took their time on going after them. Now it'll be like trying to control the petroleum giants.

Where I live is Google headquarters. It is unfreaking unreal walking thru the Google H.Q. campus areas eyeing the exorbandant gobs of money they spend just on their landscaping. Huge statues, bronze busts of famous people, and extreme archetechture work everywhere. This goes on for miles. The place should be a museum garden.

Fremont?
My fatherinlaw moved from there a few years ago. Sold his house at the peak of the market to buy some land and build in northern Alabama. Talk about great timing.
Anyways, I agree google has taken great advantage of their technologies. I dont begrudge them that, but who knows what else they have been taking advantage of?
Its definitely worth the look. Unfortunately, a bigger monopoly with arguably even more questionable motives  is examining them. I hope they keep it straight and legit.

Google is actually located in Mountain View. Which is in my business territory. Still not very far away from Fremont. Apple is out here too; your next upcoming Monopoly.

Google a demon search engine, agent of evil, harm, ruin.
Everything you enter, search from your computer on the Internet is stored on google search engine.
Remember to clean out your temp files daily or weekly. With AOL it is easy to clean out history files, cookies, cache etc.

That is one of the scrutinies being discussed by protestors against Google.
We are watched upon even as I write this.

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town

Remember during the clinton years when microsoft was considered a monopoly?

Guess who bill gates hangs out with in the halls of congress?

Thats right, ultral liberals and guess what? The whole "monopoly" thing dissapeared pretty fast and quietly.

Watch what happens with google and mark it down...........google execs WILL wind up in the halls of congress learning from bill gates and the "investigation" will again slip quietly into the dusty realm of political history

OR, Bill gates is behind the whole thing trying to protect his "monopoly"
