That sounds like a horrible idea to me.. lol For one, convertibles are usually heavier because of all the reinforcement needs, and a hard top beats a vert anyday in my book.
And I'll Bi*** all day long who really cares? I love the new challengers, but there's always room for improvement... sports car, muscle car, it's all opinion really so who cares, I can argue that all day long. plain and simply... it needs to be lighter. Put the old and the new next to each other, the new one looks like an overgrown fatty. I know because I have a 70 and my girlfriend has a 2010 r/t I see the difference in person everyday. There's no denying it, whether you like it or not.
And frankly, comparing it with corvette, mustang, and camaro IS FAIR because that's what the competition is. I would never buy anything other than MOPAR so that's not an option either, It's just an overbearing issue with the car, it was designed big, for big wheels, and to be heavy. I remember reading an interview online where even Ralph Gilles admitted to it
