A good price but it's an auto 383 and not a high impact color.

Yep that's it. I was shocked at the price! Sure it's not a popular colour but wow, no way you could restore one for that!

I was happy to see her do so well for the new owner. It was pretty exciting seeing her go across the stage this evening!

I hope the new owner appreciates that beautiful car, lucky them! Did I read Barrett-Jackson is all 'no reserve' from now on?
Did you see any of the Criss Angel cars sell?

They have some reserve items for high dollar value cars and special cars. Most are no reserve

I actually like the mecum coverage alot more than the barrett-jackson

Not good, spent 150K and get 110K back! Someone is over 40K in the hole. Buyers market.

Just wait until the recession really hits hard this time around. Rock bottom prices.

I tend to agree, I don't like how high prices keeps the true enthusiasts out. But at the same time, I do like to see the additional investment in the cars being preserved.

so....Im guessing the seller paid a lot less than his $100k sale price (plus $10k commission) only a month or two before the auction.
Hate to see that happen to the guy who put all the effort, $, vision, and more $ into the car. The same thing has happened to me, more than once on real estate deals. It hurts.
