73 cuda
« on: September 25, 2011 - 09:31:56 AM »
Hey my name is Larry and this is my 4th Mopar I have owned in my lifetime. My first mopar was a 1969 hemi orange and flat black 383 hurst factory 4 speed,323 gears,I rolled the car when I was 19 yrs old on a gravel road, boy did I cry and cry as it was my favorite mopar,my 2nd mopar was a gold 1971 Dodge Demon with black racing stripes and 323 gears with and automatic trans,I painted it black and had a buddy of mine do the interior,I changed the gears to 456's and 10.5 Mickey Thomson slicks on the rear,I had the motor pro built balanced and blueprinted, dyno out at around 500 hp and ran low 13's in the 1/4 mile at 110 mph at the track, sold it to a friend in Phoenix,Az,then my next mopar was a 1973 black cuda with a 340 in it with 410 gears with Keystone mags,it was really a looker as a body man owned it and put a nice hood scope on it front and rear spoilers and flared all the wheel wells out,it also was an auto car wasnt very fast but a sweet ride, now my car as of June of this year is another 1973 cuda this one is deep lilach pearl with metal flake,a very built 340 in it with a 508 purple cam and 391 gears with a built 727 auto with a shift kit and a mild stall converter shifted by a B&M shifter,I bought the car on Ebay motors and have slowly been completing the restoration as it was maybe 80% done when I got it
