Site looks great! Just joined today! Apologies in advance as new users usually post out of place or haven't figured out how to navigate through all the data... sorry if I step on toes with this post.
Ok to the point...
I have a 1971 Challenger... found in barn in central Illinois about 6 years ago (married, had child and built a house since buying it; ready to start piecing it together now). I found 2 broadcast sheets... 1 behind the heater core and 1 tucked away underneath the springs of the back seat. The fender tag was also there. ...nothing super rare; 318 eng; 904 tranny slapstick; 2.76 gears; F3 metallic green (originally; now partially red and blue...). All original parts are intact (paint and wheels aftermarket...)
The item that I am unfamiliar with is the Y16 code = Sales Banker car. Does anyone have any details on these? I don't have the sheet here with me, but for some reason I'm thinking I also found something that led me to believe that it had "banker's stripes" included. Ever heard of banker's stripes?
If you have any information please let me know!
Also, suggestions on an all original resto, or given that it wasn't a rare find (again, not sure what Sales Banker car means) should I enjoy it (440, 727, 3:91, etc).
Thanks.
Noah
