Unfortunately, the grapeaperacing site seems to have disappeared.  It had a good tech write up on the subject.  I found this thread with some clips from it on the subject.

I have been runing a high flow waterpump also.  Have been told that it can the move the water to fast for it to cool going thru the radiator?  Thoughts on that.  I live in Florida, sitting in traffic for hours for a wreck in 100 degree temps with high humidity, it's tough to keep one cool in that situation.  Summer in the north is like a winter day here.
Since when is Virginia in the north? :dunno: This past summer was a record here with dewpoints above 70 and humidity was 90 to 100 percent everyday.

 :lol:  Ya that kinda made me giggle a bit too. It does get to high 90's and high humidity around here to. Contrary to some beliefs... we don't live in igloos !  :smilielol:

I think it's worth mentioning, humidity helps the radiator cool as well... not sure why that was brought up.
