shifter for A833, will this work?
« on: September 29, 2011 - 01:38:00 PM »
I'm converting a 73 Cuda from 904 to an A-833.  I picked up a tranny that I believe is from a 70 Challenger.  I still need a bellhousing, pedal assembly, shifter, all the external linkage, etc.

Will this shifter work?

Does anyone have suggestions for sourcing the rest of the parts?  I tried the wanted ads here but didn't get many bites.  And is there anything I need to be careful of in putting a 70 A833 in a 73 Ebody?

Thanks,
David

should work fine , the longer shifter handles use longer levers in the shifter but even if shifter has the longer levers it will just shorten the throw, it looks like a correct one for the E body
