going to dyno

went to shop to see my 6 pack progress  and on the way went by a shop that has a dyno,just opened last month.
they are a ricer place, nsx chips  the guy was thrilled when I said 440-6  Is $100 for 3 runs normal ?


by the end of this week the hard top will be good to go, RE-fixed the tranny,went over the rear end, tunned the
6 pack, new brakes, new ignition, pinnion snubber,and either HEMI or super stock springs,I don't know which he used yet, this should hook up well  ;D          I can't wait to drive it to the dyno.   

April the place is called Heavy Throttle
Why are the only other cars on the road all in my rear view mirror?  Oh yeah cause I got a 440/6 pack

The dyno place here is $60.00 for 3 pulls

the local dyno here is $80 / hr so you get time to make changes between pulls if needed

So you'd be better off runnin a pull for 1\2 an hour...get off the dyno make your change and then do another pull for 1\2 an hour and pay 80 bucks that way??? rather than stay on the Dyno and go over your hour??

can be done , it takes 15 mins or so to load the car & hook it all up though so if the change can be made in under 1/2 hr it is faster to stay on

Ic..didn't realize it took so long to hook up...but how long does it take to change jets or something??

I think my buddy around that price 60.00 for 3 runs
1965 barracuda. Was 273/2 904 car had 440 360 in plans

what kind of dyno is it?  Be careful, there is a place in poughkeepsie that doesn't give you rpm, just gives you horsepower to speed.  I'll find out tonight which place it is so you don't go to that place.  I think I heard it was a ricer place too.  My buddy went up there with his V-10 dodge and whas very disappointed.

Hummm...i wonder how much hp and Tq my bicycle has......i might have to rent a dyno and do a few pulls with my bicycle...i bet it has like around 400 HP and 350TQ..... :laughup:
