1965 Cuda "S" Carter
« on: October 09, 2011 - 09:01:21 PM »
I have one of these, it's a 3853 S, and in very good condition. I've been trying to find some information on it so I could run it on a 302 Ford motor. Sorry but it's the carb of choice for this hot rod setup I'm working on. It has been suggested to me that the carb is pretty rare and I ought to see if I can sell it to someone looking for one and then use the funds from the sale of the carb to buy one that would bolt on and run on my Ford 302.

Sooooo - what's a Carter like this worth? And is there any interest on this forum for it? I'd be open to partial trades for an older Carter that would work on my 302 Ford motor. Long as it is in good condition that is -

Thanks

Kim at Passion4mopars shares a shop with a guy who does Carter carbs. She is a member here.  You might reach her the quickest through her website http://www.passion4mopars.com/  She is a nice person and will ask for you if the carb guy is available.
