PG Classics...BE&A...Roseville...all sell the same woodgrain.  PCG(Performance Car Graphics) sells one of their own.

There are differences between the two.  The panels that Roseville sells are shipped flat and you have to bend the edges yourself.  You also have to reuse the thick metal backing that is behind the original woodgrain.  The PCG part comes prebend and also comes with new thick metal backing already attached.

The PCG parts are the closest thing to original on the market but have a couple fitment issues that I've heard of.  They are also a lot more expensive then the ones Roseville sells.

The PG Classics/BE&A/Roseville fascia looks nice but isn't factory correct looking.  The brown paint around the gauges isn't the right color...the woodgrain isn't exactly right and I had some fitment issues as well.  Depending on when your 73 was built, the switch panel might not be worded correctly either.

Sometime in 73, the switch panel wording was changed and little "headlight" and "washer" symbols were added next to the switches.  My original Oct 72 built 73 fascia doesn't have any of those symbols and says HEAD LAMPS under the light switch.  The PG Classics panel just says LIGHTS.

Thanks. That helps. Would you or anyone know whom makes the fascia for the Chrysler dealerships? I found out that they can order it at the dealership. I'm not sure of the quality though.

Roseville is a dealer and he sells the PG Classics/BE&A woodgrain.  I don't think all dealers have access to the woodgrain unless MP lists it in a cataloge somewhere.

DMT(Detroit Muscle Technologies) sells a woodgrain overlay.(vinyl)  I know he has spent a lot of time trying to find a woodgrain pattern that matches the factory screen printing.  That may be an option for you.

Yes, it is listed in the Mopar Performance catalogue. I  think it sells for around $300 around here through the local Dodge dealership. I was wondering who makes it too.

Off topic, sorry don't want to hijack this thread - but could someone tell me what that round black circle on the right side in the bent area is or is for? It's been driving me nuts. Thank you.

I called around last week to find out which dash fascia Mopar Performance sells. I have been told that its PG Classics. I case anyone is wondering, there is alot of PG Classics stuff being sold through the MP catalogue.

all of these types of parts in the MP book "77"were supplied by BEA

the woodgrain kits now come with the metal backer, but they are still staight, Bending them really isnt an issue.

On the 74, there are 2 connectors per side to trip that light.  One connector comes out of a hole in the carpet under the seat (weight sensor) the other comes out near the trans tunnel and connects to the bottom of the seat belt.  The light only comes on if there is enough weight in the seat and the belt isn't fastened.

In 74 this also trips the seat belt interlock and will not allow the car to start.  I believe it also sounds the buzzer if it's still connected.
When it's lit it looks like this:

Thank you for the detailed info Jamiez. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what it was. Shop manual is hopefully on the way now.
