Mega DITTOS to most of this, I wouildn't buy one unless it was as already stated, a Charger! Just cause these geeks put the General Lee garb on their ricers and other cars, does make it a Charger, no difference in my opinion. The only difference with DMC, they are actually putting a real engine in theirs.
I've already said this but they will never be able to bring back the true feel or look as they had in the real era of these awesome Mopars. Viper on the other hand, if I was loaded?  :grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:

The blue one I like, the grille is too large but the side profile is awesome.

That 70 cuda grille looks right at home as well and the shaker is a nice touch

Did anyone see the concept car that was at Carlisle?? Oh, gosh, WHY couldn't they have produced that as an actual car?? I'm going to dig an see if I kept the pictures. If so, I will post. ;)

Here are some pics. I took at Carlisle 2004. I would have bought this car in a heart beat. Too bad that isn't what is being produced. :dupe:

MEK, I'm glad you posted pics of that.  I remember at the time thinking that the car wasn't that bad looking and would consider buying it.  But the more I've seen of the real versions the more I began questioning my own sanity back in Carlisle.  But yeah, I can see a lot more similarities to the old chargers.  I like the gas cap on the top of the quarter.

In my opinion they already sell that show "Charger". It's called the Sebring

If you look at them the show car is just a widend and slightly longer Chrysler

That being said the show car does look better then either one

It's not a BAD car - how can a new RWD Hemi _anything_ be bad? - but if I buy one, I'm only encouraging the Germans who think they know the American enthusiast marketplace.

And it's safe to say that they are the ones calling the shots.

So I vote no. It only encourages them.
