Would You Buy the New "Charger"? - Poll
« on: January 13, 2005 - 08:47:45 PM »
I've started this poll on another major MoPar site so I can get a decent look at what the majority are saying.

# Some people don't mind the looks, but don't think it deserves the nameplate - "Charger".
# Some would buy it but aren't happy about the 4-Doors.
# Some wouldn't touch it with a 10ft Pole.
# Some are just happy DC has made a RWD HEMI car.
# Others are annoyed that they got there hopes up about the original concept, then DC changed the design drastically to the new model.

Have your say, I'm not happy about the four doors and would rather have the original concept.

Photos below are:

#1 New Charger which is what the poles about.
#2 One of the original concept designs.

Thanks,
Carl

looks too much like a Benz /Audi  illegitimate child thing....LOL
If they want to bring the marquee back then they should update the classic lines  so its still reconizable as a charger ... similar to what vw did with the bug

Maybe.  If they came out with a stripped down 2 door, with the 5.7 HEMI, for around 25k.  Doubt it's gonna happen, but, I can hope.

NO WAY!!!  LOOKS LIKE EVERY OTHER 4-DOOR CAR OUT THERE. :ack:  I WOULD GO FOR THE 300 BEFORE THE CHARGER. MAYBE IF THEY COULD DO SOMETHING RIGHT AND HAVE SO RETRO STYLE BODY LINES (LIKE FERD DID WITH THE NEW RUSTANG) WE WOULD ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT. THAT THING DOSEN'T EVEN DESERVE THE CHARGER NAME.

Not for me. I like that photo of the new "Charger" with two real Chargers. Hilarious! As MOPAR73340 said, it looks like every other car out there. I'd much rather have a '69 Charger R/T 440, with either 3.23 or 3.55 gears!

Then you vote should have been NO, because this car is staying 4-door.  :ack:

The 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's look good if you have 40 large.......

I didn't test drive a 2005 JGC with a hemi, because I was afraid I wouldn't be satisfied with my 2004 JGC with the 4.7L.....(but I got $10 Grand off sticker = 500 sawbucks)

Didn't want to spend the rest of my life dreaming about the one that got away because I settled.....
