turn signals

What do I need for the turn signals to work? I move the lever on my steering column and nothing happens. I have a new surnsignal unit in my column. Just wondering if I am missing something.

assuming the arm is tight on the switch you need to test for power going up to the switch or a poor connection at the plug at the base of the column , you may just have a bad fuse even if it looks good , you can test with a test light o be sure you have power on both sides of each fuse
