Brad, is the plate wrong, or is it just labeled wrong?  Does it fit in the shifter and work correctly, or is it truly not made correctly?  I am right behind you and getting closer to my own install.   Jordan

It fits in the shifter but it's made wrong. There is no detents for 2-3rd  gears and between r and neutral. The lower plate is correct and looks like it will work.  ( non gold cad plated.) I'm gonna phone them back...again

I created an album on photobucket with pictures to explain the issue.

Looks like I better start digging through my box to see if I have the same one.  That much money, and I was hoping it is going to be a bolt in.  I hate being a sucker for advertising.  I suppose my XV parts won't fit too.

Check to see if you have the starter bushing too? I didn't get one but made my own. Also was missing
 (2) 7/16 x 2" long starter bolts ( no biggie for me just got them local )

I've been dealing with Bill Hargis at Keisler ( he has been great so far!)  with the detent plate and he is sending me the plate on the bottom of this picture. Again in the top gold one they have park and first labeled wrong . Those two positions are not shift detents.

Well, same thing for me.  Looks like I got the wrong cad plated plate, no bushing, and no bolts!  Looks like I am making some calls tomorrow also.  Thanks for the updates.  I would have had a hell of a time trying to figure that one out on my own.  I really love this website and all of it members.  I couldn't do it without the entire community!  Thanks Brad.   J

Anyone else having trouble getting ahold of these guys? Its been a couple weeks, I keep getting the answering machine and no one ever returns my messages.

Also looking for a slip yoke for this transmission, specifically one with the large knuckles.

And what starter is everyone using? My tranny is being mated to a new gen iii hemi (6.1) and I cant get keisler on the phone to answer these questions.

Thanks!

In their instructions it mentions a starter they sell for the newer hemi engines? :dunno:

:roflsmiley:  I was just wondering how long it would take till you commented! :grinyes:

I'm still waiting for the shifter detent plate. But in all fairness it couldbe and most likley is held up in customs. Much longer and I'll just make my own. I'm lucky to have the equipment to do that though.... most people would be screwed and have to wait?

I've been waiting for weeks for a shifter detent plate that works. I phoned this week and turns out this Bill guy I was dealing with no longer works there, so my part never got shipped. They said they would ship it out right away and apologized. Said it should be here tomorrow?
