At some point I'll tell you guys some things about my least job, but in this context:

I had a recruiter call me a couple of months back, hiring for a position that sounded suspiciously like the last place I was at. I asked about the identity, confirmed that it was indeed the hell-hole, and told him I wasn't interested. The guy said "I'd really like to know what's going on with this. I've just gone through 70 resumes, and 20 people told me that they wouldn't consider working for that place."

If only I'd known that before I took the job.

I called the jokers at Keisler today asking where my correct ****er detent plate is since I called as soon as Brad put up pictures.  They were surprised to hear from me, as if I never called to tell them.  Then after a few minutes he says he will send me one tomorrow.  I asked if they were now in stock and he said yes.  I don't really believe him.  How about you Brad, did you get anything yet except lip service?   :pullinghair:

I called today to keep Keisler on task.  Ben said the part was shipped next day air and should be here tomorrow?  I will post a picture if it shows tomorrow.  Im not holding my breath.
Brad, if your camping, should'nt you be offline and at one with nature and a cold beer instead of looking at a computer?  Have fun.

I actually got a package from Keisler today!  They sent me the exact shifter detent plate that I already have that Brad says won't work!!  How many time can I explain that the part is wrong and I need one that works as Brad explained?  WTF.  I will call again tomorrow and ask for Shafi Keisler himself to fix the problem.

Oh what fun. Ya good luck getting ahold of him. I dont think it should be a problem unless he hides. I finally got ahold of Ben, they are waiting on a shifter part. So im having them ship everything up right now and they can ship me the other parts when they get in...

Best of luck to you Jordan... And hopefully I wont need it... Knocking on wood.

It was this thread, among other feedback, that took the A41 off the table for me. I'd honestly thought that saving for a car, finding the right car and saving to build one would be the hard part. Turns out it's finding the right combination and the right vendors. There's definitely a market for someone to step into here and provide a straight forward solution. Of course, they then must provide what you thought you paid for...

I'm sure you'll have great cars when it's all sorted.

Regards,
John

I can't say that I didn't hear about their poor customer service.  It is referred to earlier in this thread.  I did here good things about the transmission and its installation from numerous people.  I thought I was buying an established product from a professional business.  I have gotten poor communication, and missing parts since the Dec.31 order date.  Thats a long time for a business to be out of touch with their own product.  With modern internet forums, this information gets around, and it looks like Keisler is losing business because of it.
I hope with time and Im sure more frustration, I can finally get all the right parts, and have a quality part.  Will it all be worth an overdrive?  I hope so.  The trans adds a lot of personality and purpose to a performance car.  The right feel for the right driver really makes the car.  I hope this all doesnt end badly.  J
