There is a large window of opportunity here for someone to step up & fill the need ..... the product will sell & is desired by many but it needs to be handle thoroughly  & professionally .

Ok I have both detent plates for the shifter and the one( non-cad plated) that has all the right detents won't work either. It's not on the right arc..? I was talking to a mechanic buddy band he said they are most likley relying on the internal detents in the tranny and to try the cad plated one, so I installed it back again?

My next issue is, had anyone wired up the controler yet? Electronics is SO NOT my thing. In the simple shift instructions it says for carb aplications you need a TPS kit? I don't have one so I phoned Keisler awhile back when I first got the tranny and told them I don't have this kit? They replied that I don't need a tps switch as the controler is modified so I don't need it? My "spidey scence" is tingling here...?  :-\  The instructions from  PCS says I need one? So "IF" I don't need one my question is what do I do with the wiring harness? Just zip tie it all up under the dash?
Did anyone else get a TPS kit PCS part # TCM-6000?

Here is what I did to mount the controler. I used an extra ash tray assembly and mounted it in there.

Ok here we go yet again!  :banghead:   I phoned Keisler and YES you DO need the throttle position switch kit!  That I didn't get!  I phoned when I first got the kit  to say I didn't get one and they told me I didn't need one! AHHHHHH! I just wanna drive my car damit!  So they say they are sending it out today...... ::)
So ... anyone who got this kit check and see that you have the throttle position switch kit!  YOU WILL NEED IT!

Oh....shut up Neil!  :roflsmiley: ....( just kidding! ) :smilielol:

I have one for 13k miles behind my 6.1
Honestly great great product, I've auto crossed drag raced, even did pocono raceway at 140mph around  the track
I would advise a tranny cooler
I also changed to a carbon fiber drive shaft ,
I'm very happy with it
Mine was one of the first units they built
FYI

Good to know thanks! I used an even bigger tranny cooler than Keisler supplied. Did you retain the slap stick shifter? Thanks for chimming in!

Brad, to answer your question about firing it up without the controller functioning correctly?...... I would not because your 4L60-E will be in "limp mode" which makes it work under Maximum pressure and could break your pump rotor.

Well I finally have all the parts from Keisler . Lets see.... I ordered it in early April, and here we are 3/4 of the way through September.Just about 6 months just to get all the parts! Not nice! :pullinghair:
Can't say at this point if I'd do it again or not?   I DEFINITELY would not order it in the spring! I should have ordered it last September...then maybe it would be ready for spring and not had my car sitting all sumer! :stomp:

I should have it running this week sometime if all goes well?

Here's the deal
Back then I also has some issues, but they resolved pretty quickly.
I know Shafi now personally after this experience.
Even with that said when it came to programming I called pcs directly and were awesome in their tech support
So if you have questions with the controller , call pcs!
Keisler from my understanding is having some financial issues hence the large turnover
It's been like that for a while, so I would keep up with the phone calls until resolved
Btw I dealt with Keith Ferrell, don't know if hes still there, but try reaching out to him,
As far as the product goes,,the Trans they were outsourcing from one of their vendors ,same for the converters.
I don't know why they would discontinue the kit ? And quite honesty it is a great product ! After some turning ( from pcs and Keith ) mine I'd dialed in spot on!
FYI back then mine was missing the starter bushing as well, and also bought  my starter from Mancini racing ,
Hope that helps fellas

I just looked on their site and can't see where they discontinued this kit?
I'm just majorly disapointed in Keisler in how long after I HAD PAID IN FULL! that I had to wait to get all the parts . My car was pretty much on jackstands all season thanks to them. Missed Carlisle, mopar nats, moparfest, local events, etc...  I disassembled the car on the timeline they gave me, and they didn't stick to it. If they did not make me pay till the parts were all there that would be a different issue, but that was not the case. They should not sell something they don't have, that's flat out wrong!  :nono:  We are not talking a couple of weeks here....6 months! Don't use your customers as your bank/financing. If I did that in my business I wouldn't be around long!
