Ive toyed with that idea as well.....

Love the shaker . I get so many more looks and compliments .It wasn't as easy to do as you might think (in my case anyway) . I used the bubble and tray(factory) off a 383 cuda , then bought a aftermarket hood . The 440 sits higher in the engine compartment , so I had to cut and braze the base (too tall) and did not cut enough the first time so I had to cut and braze again . But for me it was worth it . Not sure how a total after market set up would work , but someone here with the after market set up had to cut . He cut too much and his carb linkages was hitting the bottom of the base . But hey if it was too easy it wouldn't mean as much  :cheers:
