I'm a big fan of those wheels. Are there options on the hardware finish? Thanks for sharing your progress!
-Dave
There sure is Dave. The wheels are the New Gen 'Lite'. There is also a Lite that is a two piece and has no hardware and the spokes look more like the Mini-Lite's from the Trans-Am days. They are considerably cheaper due to being a 2 piece where as these are 3 piece.
Jon or Justin at Driverz Inc. can hook you up with whatever you need. Jon knows everyone in the wheel business as he started out over at Budnik Wheels in Huntington Beach, CA and has now moved to Corona, CA and started his own retail business. He started the New Gen wheel company a few years ago and has done many tailored made things on custom wheels, i.e. hidden hardware, anodize, powder, paint. They can even do custom engraving on the centers.
They are a dealer for Rushforth, Boyd, Forgeline, Schott, Foose, American Racing, Weld, Vintage Wheel Works, ........ they can also get you any other wheel and work directly with the mfg. and builder. Most companies outsource their mfg. to machine shops in Jon's area (Riverside, Ontario, Corona). Jon knows all of these guys in the business and delivers what you want and what he says he will.
Give them a call. I was sent to them by a friend and have sent a couple of other friends to them. It may sound like an advertisement but I just want to spread the word that these guys are the ones to go to if you need anything custom.
