Son ig going to SEMA- anything he should check out?
« on: October 31, 2011 - 07:30:17 PM »
My son scored a free ticket to the SEMA show and is heading out tomorrow. I have never been and have no idea what it is like. What should I tell him to expect, and is there anything particularly cool he should check out? Besides the girls, I mean.

Tired Feet!

It's so huge he won't see it all. It's like trying to tour a city in a few days.
Then have enough energy at night to  :drunk:.

Wake up and do it again the next day.

Have him stop by the MSD booth and look over the new fuel injection they are bringing out.  7 connections - that's it.   Another player for sure.

Check out all he can , obviously the Mopar display . As TC said you would be hard pressed to see it all in 5 days , when I was there I booked 3 days & I was screwed on day 4 my legs were so tired my calves were cramping & I could hardly walk anymore

No. the new products are showcased in glass covered areas.

SEMA is to help promote the industry thru awareness for the vendor to distribute.

I really liked this product I saw there.

Wow great product! Looks like it would take longer to clean up the mess than to blast the car! Cool with the water too so it won't warp!

I also checked out the 71 Cuda at the AMD booth.
According to the rep there, the 71 Cuda fenders were the prototypes and not the production one's.

The curve where it meets the hood was too short and the lower indentatated louver areas weren't very crisp.
