After playing with Mustangs for some years it was time for a mopar. Imported this one from LA area to Norway one year ago.

). Wasn't quite as good as expected. All floors rusted through...Impressive choice of materials to cover up the rust.. And since it was a 318 a lot of upgrades are needed to match the 426. Have found most of the parts, but still in doubt what kind of hood I will use. AAR is tempthing... After 30 hours a new trunk floor is in place.
But still lots of work waiting..Forums like this is of great value for us newbies

nice project I would say. Congrats and welcome here, I just landed here too. My CA-Car has a custom trunk floor pan too, done by the previous owner. I would have used a reproduction one from AMD. But I have a repo trunk mat in now, and almost nobody sees the plain trunk floor.

Good luck with the Cuda. If I could, I would have one too... and a B-body or two.

My car is from CA and it could use a trunk floor too. I'll be going with AMD when the time comes.

Stein, don't tell us you tore it out! That was the rare "vinyl trunk" option and was usually limited to the northeast North American areas! Seriously, don't feel too bad; as Brad says, there's lots of us who are putting in trunk floors and I'm one of them as well. The AMD panel fits and looks pretty good. I tore it out. But I think this is a rare southwest option with materials I dont even know how to translate. So now I have room for an extra suitcase... And the happy owner of a large box of screws which held it all together. Footwells had the same options installed. Flintstone options...
And AMD floors are excellent according to the guy who helps me with the welding.

Gas tank braces are in place. Some collision damage in the rear right corner needs fixing. Then on to the rest of the floors. But now temperatures are creeping down, and snow is falling heavy. So a break in the process....

Almost the same here. No snow yet but the Challenger is waiting for the spring in the garage...

That's a bummer the car didn't turn out to be as nice as it was made out to be, but it looks like it's getting the attention it deserved now!
